Brian Kenna
Chief Executive Officer

Brian joined SIMCO in 2007 and served as Director of Software, Director of Technical Operations, Regional Vice President, and President before being appointed CEO in 2015.  Under Brian’s leadership, SIMCO has achieved significant revenue growth and has received several important industry leadership awards.

Before SIMCO, Kenna held management positions in sales, operations, and strategy for several startup and public technology companies and investment roles at Comcast Interactive Capital and Goldman Sachs.

Kenna attended Duke University where he earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  Kenna also received an MBA from The Wharton School where he was a Joseph Wharton Fellow.

John Connelly
Senior Vice President, Services

John Connelly is responsible for managing SIMCO’s Service Operations, including SIMCO’s 22 calibration and repair labs.  He joined SIMCO in 2008 to lead SIMCO's software team and expanded the deployment of CERDAAC software to over 3,500 customers.

Prior to SIMCO, Connelly held executive positions at several Silicon Valley start-ups, including BigBand Networks and DiviCom.  He also held engineering and management positions at AT&T Bell Labs and contributed to advances in telephones, network computing devices, and digital switching systems.

Connelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rutgers University and a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.  He also completed an Executive Development program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

John Ashworth
Vice President, Business Development

John Ashworth is responsible for business development and sales for SIMCO Electronics.  Ashworth has over 20 years of experience providing technology solutions to global technology companies.  He joined SIMCO in 2003 and previously held positions of National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Business Development Executive.

Prior to SIMCO, Mr. Ashworth held positions in sales, operations, and strategy for several technology and service companies, including Sales Manager and General Manager at SE Laboratories in Silicon Valley.

Frank Binzoni
Vice President, Software and Information Systems

Frank Binzoni is responsible for SIMCO’s commercial and service business software and information technology.

Before rejoining SIMCO in 2015 for this position, Binzoni was VP of Sales and VP of the Western Region at SIMCO from 2002 to 2008.  He has also served as Services Technology Engineering Manager at Keysight Technologies.  Previously, Binzoni held executive management positions at two emerging RFID companies.

Binzoni earned a BSEE from Arizona State University and has taken graduate business courses at the University of Colorado.  He has also completed other studies at Stanford University and the Lausanne Polytechnic Institute.

Brad Phillips
Chief Financial Officer & Vice President Contracts

Mr. Phillips is responsible for SIMCO’s Finance and Accounting Department and Contracts Administration.  Joining SIMCO as CFO in 1987, Brad's’ financial leadership has made it possible for SIMCO to fund its rapid growth while maintaining a strong financial foundation.

Prior to joining SIMCO, Phillips held financial positions at Loral Corporation and auditing positions at Price Waterhouse and CertainTeed. He earned CPA certificates in New York and Pennsylvania and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree (Cum Laude) from Temple University.  Phillips served as a US Navy Supply Corps officer from 1970-1973 and as a reserve officer from 1973-1993.

Marianne Bloomberg
Director of Administration

As the Director of Administration, Marianne Bloomberg oversees SIMCO’s Human Resource Department and manages administrative services for SIMCO’s Executive Staff.  Ms. Bloomberg joined SIMCO in 2010.

Ms. Bloomberg has over thirty years of experience in the electronics industry, including positions at Telogy and U.S. Instrument Rentals.  Bloomberg attended San Jose State University and majored in Business Administration.

Randy Ford
Director, Corporate Quality & Operational Excellence

Randy is responsible for the management and execution of SIMCO’s Quality Management System. With over 20 years of Metrology experience, Randy has held a number of key management positions since joining SIMCO in 2007, including Quality Manager, Phoenix Operations Supervisor, Texas Area Manager, and Southwest Area Director.

Before SIMCO, Randy was a Metrology Technician for Verizon's Primary Calibration Lab and a Test, Measurement, and Diagnostic Equipment Maintenance Specialist in the U.S. Army. Randy is a member of ASQ and earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Technology.

Lee Kenna
Executive Chairman

Before becoming Executive Chairman in 2015, Lee Kenna had been CEO and Chairman of the Board since joining SIMCO in 1983.  Under Kenna’s leadership, SIMCO became a trusted provider of high-quality services and software to thousands of companies, including many of the world’s leading technology manufacturers.

Before joining SIMCO, Mr. Kenna led FMC Corporation’s expansion in Asia and South America as Director of International Marketing.  Kenna is past President of the World Presidents’ Organization’s Northern California Chapter and past President of the Pacific Skyline Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

Kenna earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School.  He received the Bronze Star Medal for service in Vietnam as a Lieutenant in the United States Army.
