Biography
Michael Willkerson leads SIMCO’s operations organization, with responsibility for service delivery, quality, operational performance, and continuous improvement across SIMCO’s calibration service areas. He brings more than two decades of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and regulated operations.
Before joining SIMCO, Michael held executive leadership roles at medical device and diagnostics companies, including Bigfoot Biomedical, ABAXIS, and Inverness Medical. His experience includes scaling operations, commercializing complex products, improving supply chain performance, and meeting quality, cost, and capacity objectives in highly regulated environments.
Michael’s background spans wearable medical devices, point-of-care analyzers, rapid tests, and operational transformation. His experience in regulated manufacturing and quality-focused operations helps SIMCO strengthen service consistency, responsiveness, and execution for customers with demanding compliance requirements.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in General Biology from San Jose State University and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
