Calibration Services During COVID-19
To ensure your calibration needs are met during the pandemic, please consider the following tips when scheduling your SIMCO calibrations.
Pick-up or Onsite Services
Even though some of your facilities may be closed during the pandemic, you can still arrange for SIMCO technicians to pick up your equipment or perform on-site service during your shutdown. This will ensure your operations can start immediately when your shutdown is over. This also helps you avoid any post-shutdown calibration backlog that may possibly occur.
While SIMCO performs most calibrations in one of our labs or on-site, some calibrations are performed by our suppliers that may not be operating during the pandemic. If this is the case, SIMCO will inform you and work diligently to find alternative solutions. Some manufacturers force you to use only them for calibration and repair. This is particularly costly during times like this when their service centers may be closed. Consider those infringing on your right to repair and service your own equipment. SIMCO can help you identify where you’re most at risk and what you can do about it.
Health & Safety
SIMCO technicians are performing all pickup, deliveries, and calibrations with your health and safety in mind. All SIMCO staff has been trained on the use of masks, gloves, and social distancing and disinfecting facilities, equipment, instruments, packaging, and vehicles.
