SIMCO Celebrates World Metrology Day

World Metrology Day is a celebration of the signing of the Metre Convention on May 20, 1875, which established the worldwide uniformity of measurement and unleashed a wave of global innovation and progress.
Metrology, the science of measurement, plays a central role in science, technology, manufacturing, international trade, environmental protection, and improving the quality of life for all. Uniform, accurate measurements are essential to ensure quality, productivity, safety, and security.
Metrology, calibration and innovation have been the foundation of SIMCO for six decades. The company is celebrating World Metrology Day with company-wide programs, communications, and events.
